I don't think I'm alone right now

The kids and Kyle have been in bed for two hours now. I'm sitting on the couch with the dog, watching TV and working on my laptop.

Ummm ... remember how I was telling you about our ghost?

Ummm ... I think he/she/it is watching me work.

Just now, a random toy sitting in the middle of our floor just started singing. The toy has not sung this whole time, until just now. Now I'm freaked out. LOL.

  1. I would MOVE! That is too scary for me...what are you going to do? Look up Ghostbusters in the business pages of the phone book and CALL THEM! Good luck :)

  4. Are you waiting for a voice that says, "Get out of the House!"? Yikes. Call TAPS (the Atlantic Paranormal Society). Maybe a blessing with holy water would help, or try a saging.

  5. Saging is a good idea...I'm actually planning on doing it this weekend to my house to get rid of any old negative energies that may be looming around. Or contact your priest/minister to bless the house.

  7. You know I grew up in a house that was haunted when I was child. The ghost rarely did things with my dad present so he was really a non-believer but the ghost did werid things while my relatives were present or neighbors so they were all believers.

We too had a lot of toy things moving and even the dogs would act strange, doors slamming but no doors closed, balloons traveling in the middle of the air not along the ceiling, cold spots, lots of goosebumps/chills suddenly etc, etc. When I was in college I was telling my ghost stories during a retreat and our resident brother (I went to a Jesuit Univ.) said it sounded like a poltergeist. They are attracted to women, children and dogs. He said that a blessing would help to clear out the house. My mom never wanted to bring attention to the house so we never did anything. She figured it must have been friendly because it had plenty of years to have done something to us. We just sold that house 2 years ago. I've been so tempted to knock on the door and ask the new owners if they've ever had werid experiences in their home. But thought that they might call the police, lol.

  8. Take the batteries out of the toy. If it starts singing again without the batteries... then you are in trouble.
