I still do associate it with Grandma's house, actually.
And now that I have my own money, I buy Hershey's Syrup. I spoil myself like that. Ha!
Unfortunately ... or fortunately, I'm not sure which ... I've passed my love of chocolate milk on to my kids. They love it ... LOVE IT. All day long, they are asking for chocolate milk.
For a long time now, Payton has taken it upon herself to get the Hershey's Syrup from the fridge and bring it to us ... that is her way of telling us she wants some chocolate milk ... and she wants it RIGHT THEN. As of late, she also signs "milk please" ... how could we turn that down? For those of you not familiar with sign, she is signing "please" in this picture ... love her!
CUTE! I love her little sign! PRECIOUS! I know I couldn't tell that face NO!ReplyDelete
CUTE!!! Oh yeah, I know I would totally give in to that sweet face : )ReplyDelete
What a sweetie! I couldn't say no to that face either.ReplyDelete
So funny...Hershey's must be the Grandma Way to make chocolate milk because mine did it too. She had these metal cups that she would give us the chocolate milk in. The cups would get all cold and frosty.YUM! I only buy Hershey's syrup too, and my kids are just as crazy about chocolate milk. Nicholas has to have his warm in a coffee mug with whipped cream and sprinkles every cold morning, here in CA that means 60 degrees. He sits by the fireplace in his little feety pajamas and drinks it from a straw. So cute!! So see, Payton is not that spoiled. Nick is worse, LOL.ReplyDelete
I couldn't refuse her anything.. that's why YOU are her momma. She's so darling. If Austin asks us with signs and words.. we cave to him too. It's just so encouraging to see him communicate.ReplyDelete
SO darling. And now I need some chocolate milk.ReplyDelete
Oooooohhhh Bethany!!!! The next time we have an East Coast meet-up, I MUST bring you some chocolate milk from our little local dairy store!!!! IT.IS.THE.BEST!!!!! So rich and smooth and creamy!!!! Precious!! I love chocolate milk too but just can't seem to get the boys into it. I guess more for me:)ReplyDelete
Priceless...she needs to be on the Hershey's commercial...how cute! A woman needs her chocolate no matter what the age!ReplyDelete
We actually get chocolate instant breakfast. We call it chocolate milk and it is REALLY good. My kids get it once a day, plus it's healthy. I really like it too actually. :)ReplyDelete
HEHE Kaila only gets chocolate milk at school I am mean like that lol.. we have the syrup but I use it on icecream :-X. I have a pic of Alana signing please on my blog too I think it was last weeks WW!ReplyDelete
My 5 year old will not drink any other milk but chocolate! We go through roughly 2 gallons of chocolate milk every week. I have tired adding the syrup to white milk, but she won't drink it.ReplyDelete
