Snow + Me = Nostalgia

I love snow.

It is so nostalgic for me. I'm a midwest girl at heart, so snow has always been part of my life ... until I moved southeast. Some of my favorite memories from my childhood surround sledding, snowmobiling and skiing ... and I'm so bummed that my kids won't have those same memories. Simply because we hardly ever get snow.

Much to our surprise, we woke up this morning to a winter wonderland. This is just our second snow of the year, so the big kids were very excited to go out and play.

  1. Great pics, as always, Bethany! I was so excited for the snow today because I wanted to take Samantha out for some photo ops, but it was so cold and windy we opted to just stay inside in our jammies. :-( There's always next year, right????
