Right now, Mason and Payton are laying next to each other on the couch watching Dora and drinking chocolate milk.
Payton burps.
They both laugh.
Mason says, "Good one babe!"

Well ... there is good news and bad news about my Christmas decorations this year.
The good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take HIM down after two days.
I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever ---> great stories! But ... two things made me take it down.
First ... the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents, as they almost wrecked when they drove by.
Second ... a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder and almost killed herself putting it against my house ... only to find out that HE was fake once she climbed to the top.
She was not happy.
By the way ... she was just one of many people who did that.
My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks in my yard where people literally drove right on up to save HIM.
My neighbor did confirm two near miss accidents on the busy street next to my house. I think I made HIM too real this time.
So it was fun while it lasted!

that guy is insane. I laughed when I finally read that it was all fake. I figured the picture was posed but not completely fake. You gave me a good laugh. I am glad I read it online and didn't drive by. I would be one of the people who almost got in an accident.

LOL-that is hilarious! Before I started reading I thought that was your husband and that you were actually taking the time to take the picture surprised me like "help your flippin' husband Bethany!" I know you're a nicer person than that though;)! OMG, that's too funny!
ReplyDeleteSo funny!
ReplyDeleteHA!!!! Ok, I would NOT want to take him down either! Maybe someday you'll have a house that's not as close to the street and you can put him up again. In the mean time, can I borrow him????? For decoration I mean. We sit back off the street. Did you make him, or buy him somewhere? I need details.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I'm in the 'why is she stopping to take a photo before getting Kyle down??' group!
ReplyDeleteToo funny!
Tell me, did the 55 year old woman ring the bell to tell you off? lol
that man is way too funny! and I love the Babe comment! so sweet
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious!! Good one! Hope Mason is feeling better.

HILARIOUS! Love it! I will have to show it to my hubby tonight -- he will just crack up since we joke every year about how much he hates ladders and how he fears falling! (Don't tell him I told you that -- he plays the "tough guy" and wouldn't want anyone to know that!) Anyway, that's just too funny!!
ReplyDeleteOmg! That is hysterical!!!
ReplyDeletetoooooo funny! You sure fooled me cause it looks so real!! I would have been afraid that someone would have injured themselves trying to save the dummie!!
ReplyDeleteI found you through Adrienne's blog "Our Unexpected Journey." LOVE your decoration, but can see the policemen's point of view! LOL
ReplyDeleteBethany that is SO naughty! (haha)

I am not sure if this is funny or twisted... but I sure got a laugh out of it! I would have been one of those driving up and throwing the ladder up, calling 911, dragging over a trampoline... whatever! LOL
ReplyDeleteBethany is this really your house?
ReplyDeleteI read this here last week (laughed hysterically) because you have that kind of humor. Today in work the picture was sent to me by two different people!!! HAHAHAHA!!!
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI have never commented but read since before Nika came home. I just came accross a blog (failblog.org) and saw your christmas decoration there. Did you know that? Just thought I'd let you know in case they were stealing it. Anyway. Love your blog, your family, your kids and your dedication to children with Down Syndrome!
