Nika seems to have this fear that she is going to be left out. Or forgotten. And she has no problem letting us know her discontent by dropping to her butt, folding herself in half and having a meltdown.
We nipped that in the bud real quick.

The other morning, I was getting the girls ready for the day. Every morning, each of them get yogurt with their Nutrivene mixed in. I always feed it to them so I can make sure they get it all.
Payton was first. She was throwing a fit, because she wanted Goldfish instead of her yogurt. I told her she could have Goldfish after she ate her yogurt and gave her a little baggie of Goldfish to hold onto.
Nika couldn't take it.

She turned around, covered her eyes and shuddered her shoulders as if she were fake crying.
Oh, the melodrama.

She wanted some Goldfish too. And apparently she thought she was going to go forgotten.

You done, Nika? Because that was quite possibly the most hilarious thing I've ever witnessed.

She is so stinkin' cute. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture tale... and what a beautiful model.
ReplyDeleteLOVE HER
ReplyDeleteThose might be the cutest pics EVER
ReplyDeleteHow can you get such clear pictures of those times? Mine are always blurry from me laughing at them :). Don't you love girls?
ReplyDeleteGirls, girls, girls. Ahh the drama. Happens daily around here. I think the thing is, is that girls are passionate about what they want and when they don't get what they want, they crumble-literally.
ReplyDeleteLove the pics!
cute pics we have the same here so not just a girl thing ;-)
ReplyDeleteHilarious...she's so friggin' cute, I can't stand it! What great pics!
ReplyDeleteOh I love her! ...and Bethany I love her little teeth...I do, I really do....she is so darn cute!! :)
ReplyDeleteCrazy girl. Love the photos - especially where she's got one eye looking out, as if she's thinking: "are you watching mom? I'm serious this time..."
ReplyDeleteSo do you photoshop those gorgeous baby blues, or are they just that amazing?!
ReplyDeleteFunny, Matthew does the same exact thing. My favorite is the melodramatic cry with hands over the eyes. Once he peeks out to see we aren't paying attention to him then it magically stops.
ReplyDeleteThat girl gets to me. She really does. She is just too adorable. Great post!!!
ReplyDeleteShe is so adorable!! Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are incredible! What a gift you have!!

ReplyDeleteOh the trauma of thinking that the Goldfish are going to pass you by!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos. Love the pigtails. Love your family's story.
Hi...I have no idea how we have missed each other up until now but I am so glad that you said hi!! I know I have seen the name of your blog around (as it is unusual) but I guess I have never clicked on it either. I looked at a few posts but will have to spend more time when I can. Mostly I saw the posts about Nika as they are the most recent. Are Nika and Addysen the same person...I was a little confused about all the different names. I loved those videos of her from the orphanage....so cute and so not shy!! I am in love with a little one from Reece's Rainbow who is in the Ukraine and hope that someday I can get my husband on board and go get her. I look forward to following you now!!
ReplyDeleteomg Kellsey does the SAME thing!!!! I'm beyond thinking it's cute though. It mostly drives me nuts! LOL
