The drama that is Payton.

This chick seriously cracks me up.
Drama, attention, drama, attention.

Five years ago...
as I sat in a hospital room crying my eyes out...
"We think your baby girl has Down syndrome."
I was not really sure if she would ever be smart enough to play me.
Ohh boy... was I ever mistaken.

This chick has it down...
perfected, actually.

Ohh... she cracks me up.

I love that smirk Payton gave you when you asked if she was fake crying! Priceless!

  4. She is P.E.R.F.E.C.T... I loved the eye roll, like "whatever, mama". What a dolly.

  5. Of course, you KNOW i immediately had visions of a shorter, squattier pudge pulling something similar...but nude swinging from the ceiling fan.

Loved that she knew something along the "be a good girl" lectures was in store...and, i have to agree...the eye roll? MONEY. So loved that video...off to watch again...

  12. HA! I've only had Anya with me for 5 days and I've already seen all her talent with drama. She can turn on and off the tears faster than anyone I've ever known. So funny.

  15. Love her!! I know we are going to have drame just like this. Claire already has the fake cry down, but I hope she doesn't learn the eye roll for a little while yet. :)

  16. Hi Bethany! I just found your blog off of a mom's inclusion group on Facebook and your daughter reminds me so much of my Chloe. My daughter, Chloe, is 7 years old and also has down syndrome. I joke with Chloe that she could win Academy Awards for her drama filled tantrums and fake cries. HAHA! And just like you -- I run and get the video camera and tape those moments because they are too cute! You can't help but laugh! :)
