Oh.my.gosh.

I have to get something off my chest...

You guys seriously rock. I am blown away. I am humbled at the generosity that you have for Kirill. You guys... we have raised over $8,000 in 48 hours!

*jumps up and down, screaming and hollering, with tears welling up in eyes*

If you need any reminder of what you are doing... take a second to watch this video of the first moment Tesney, Greg and Kirill met. This is not a child that deserves to be left without a family. Look at him. He is Payton. He is Nika. He deserves to be tucked in each night by his momma, poppa and big brother, Clayton. He deserves that, and so much more, just like every other person walking this earth.

:::

And if you haven't already... take a moment to watch Darius Rucker on stage singing with a group of young adults that have disabilities. They are Payton. They are Nika. They are Kirill.

Please share.

  2. Ok...now I am crying just watching that video of them meeting! I am so happy to have made my contribution, albeit small! Praying that God moves that mountain and that one day, just like with Aleksa with Meredith, we can celebrate in amazement how Kirill comes home!

  7. Those were two wonderful video's. I watched them with Emma and I cried and smiled just the same. I hope Kirill ends up right where he belongs in his mama's arms!!!!!!

  8. My little two year old walked up to me to see what I was watching and he said "Hey mama, that's Jesus happening right there."

    And I couldn't stop the tears.

    This is so wonderful. Thank you for allowing us to be blessed in our meager attempts to bless someone else. This is so humbling and honoring to be involved in something so much bigger than you or I.

    Just beautiful.

  9. Oh.my.gosh is right!!! Breaking my heart that he is not home with this incredible family. He was so happy when he saw her. When is the next court date? I can hardly sit here and not cry my eyes out thinking of him there without his parents. The donation total is the most amazing thing ever. Thank you Bethany for all you do!!!

  18. YAY YAY YAY! I have thought in our meager attempts trying to run out the "gates" and start our own adoption process, how very powerful it can be when MANY people come together with a SMALL OFFERING and how God can use that, bless that and turn it into something HUGE! I can't wait to see God's glory shine as he brings home this sweet boy and he rests in the arms of his Momma. Much love and many blessings to everyone who is making this givewawy possible. Thank you for giving US, those who are following, loving and praying for the Davis family, something to do to help.

  19. That penny is from my 5 year old daughter. After seeing the video and hearing that I was going to make a donation, she ran to get her piggy bank and said, "I want to give too, Mama. I only have a penny, but he can have it." So we added a penny to our donation. :) Oh the simple faith of children!
